Laerdal Foundation
On May 13, 2025, Rural Health Link, in collaboration with Mekelle University, was awarded a $45,000 grant by the Laerdal Foundation to support a one-year digital health intervention - SLL Assist - aimed at strengthening maternal and newborn care in Ethiopia. This grant supports the deployment of our AI-powered tool to improve clinical decision-making and access to evidence-based care in resource-limited settings.
Government of Uganda through MakRIF
On April 29, 2025, Rural Health Link, in collaboration with Makerere University, received a $30,000 grant from the Government of Uganda through MakRIF. This grant supports a digital health intervention - RHL app - running from May 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, aimed at helping individuals suffering from anxiety and depression better understand the severity of their condition through an AI-powered application.
